focused to join our team as a Food and Beverage Supervisor.
Food and Beverage Supervisor Key Responsibilities:
The Food and Beverage Supervisor is responsible for providing excellent service and high-quality food and beverage products to guests in a safe and cost-effective manner. She/he is responsible for the sanitation and cleanliness of the kitchen and food preparation areas. She/he will ensure safe food handling and service practice and work closely with the sales staff to service meeting rooms, catering and banquet needs. In addition, this position will assist the Food and Beverage Director/Manager/GM/Head Chef in training and supervising other employees in the daily functions of Bar, Kitchen and Meetings and Events. This person needs to be well versed in wine, food, and high- end meetings and events. She/he is expected to develop and promote superior service skills in dealing with clients, guests, and co-workers.
Food and Beverage Supervisor Job Requirements:
- Execute food and beverage/banquet preparation and service to meet Brand program requirements.
- Support F and B Director/Manager/GM/Head Chef in supervision of Food and Beverage staff.
- Ensures guest satisfaction through excellent food quality and services standards.
- Work with F and B Director/Manager/GM/Head Chef to develop effective and efficient work plans including scheduling and assigns appropriate duties to subordinates.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable occupational, health, and safety regulations and laws.
- Creates and environment where safety comes first and all employees strictly adhere to all LodgeWorks safety practices such as: wearing personal protective equipment, reading chemical warning labels, etc.
- Ensure a high level of cleanliness in all service areas.
- Ensure proper Food and Beverage service of meetings, banquets and special events.
- Lead kitchen/banquet staff and kitchen/banquet duties when needed.
Food and Beverage Supervisor Experience/Education:
- 1-3 years progressive experience in food production, catering or restaurant.
- 1 year supervisory experience is preferred.
- 2 year college degree is preferred.
- Any state food handler’s certificates that are required.
- Must be well versed in wine, food, and high-end meetings and events.
Food and Beverage Supervisor Hours of position:
This position requires OPEN AVAILABILITY which may include working weekends and holidays.
